Founder and head of the production company SCHOLE. While studying at university, Kikuchi co-founded the independent music label Schole Records alongside musician Akira Kosemura and filmmaker Yuma Saito. Ever since, he has consistently released works that integrate his visual practice—encompassing photography, film, design, and painting—with music.

While producing domestic and international artists and composing soundtracks for anime and films, Kikuchi launched synfilums in 2020—a collaborative project with pianist Itoko Toma—to explore new forms of expression deep within the realm of music production. Centered on the concept of "the inseparable fusion of music and artwork," the duo released synonym in 2025 and antonym in 2026.
